Pottery Lessons Due to the size of my studio and my own production, I can only take a limited number of students. If you are interested in a class or if you don't fit into one of the regularly scheduled classes, contact me! I would love to share my passion for clay with you! Beginning/Intermediate Ceramics (ages 14 through 100) Wheel-throwing with a few slab-built techniques. Designed for the beginner who has never worked with clay before as well as the intermediate student. Learn the basics and progress through skills in throwing and decorative techniques. Classes include all clay, glazes, and firing for normal amounts of work. Students who produce large amounts of product will be charged a small firing fee and may not get all their work into the next scheduled firing. Sessions are six weeks in length and meet once a week. Ongoing lessons may be scheduled. Tuesday mornings, 10:00 to 12:00 Wednesday evenings, 6:30 to 8:30 Open Studio Time for practice (must pre-schedule) available on Saturdays from 10-12. Class Size: Must have minimum of two to schedule a class. Maximum 4. Lots of personal attention and guidance to help you learn to throw on the wheel and make beautiful work. Cost: $150 per six-week session (We can accept PayPal, Mastercard and Visa for your convenience.) 2010 classes begin February 2nd.
